Teresa Clinical Reflection | Traditional Chinese Medicine Perspectives on Health, Recovery and Healing | Ayckland Acupuncture Clinic
Welcome to Teresa Clinical Reflection.
This series was created to share clinical observations, treatment experiences, and reflections developed through everyday acupuncture practice.
In clinic, many people ask similar questions.
Why does neck pain keep coming back?
Why is shoulder pain so difficult to recover from?
Why do some people improve quickly while others take much longer?
Why do symptoms sometimes return even after treatment?
These questions often have more than one answer.
From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, health is influenced not only by symptoms or diagnoses, but also by circulation, meridian balance, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle habits, sleep quality, stress levels, and the body’s ability to recover.
Through these reflections, I hope to share some of the ways Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches common health conditions and recovery challenges.
Rather than focusing only on treatment techniques, these articles explore the broader factors that may influence healing and long-term wellbeing.
Each reflection is based on real clinical experience and is intended to help patients better understand their condition, participate more actively in their recovery, and gain a deeper appreciation of Traditional Chinese Medicine in modern healthcare.
