two suspected cases of Ankylosing spondylit
Ankylosing spondylitis’s symptoms
(1) pain and discomfort in the waist and/or spine, groin, buttocks. symptoms lasting ≥ 6 weeks.
(2) pain at night and/or stiffness in the morning .
(3) Relief after the movement .
(4) Heel pain and/or other pain in the points in which connecting tendon and bone.
(5) Current or previous history of iridocyclitis (redness and swelling).
(6) Family history of ankylosing spondylitis or HLA-B27 positive.
(7) Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can quickly relieve symptoms, such as aspirin, ibuprofen and so on.
(8) Family history, refers to the first or second generation relatives suffering from ankylosing spondylitis/psoriasis/ulcerative colitis.
(9) C-reactive protein is increased.
(10) inflammation in finger’s joint (toe).
If one patient who have the four of over the ten symptoms , we will think who is the suspected Ankylosing spondylitis. Then suggest who will have some CT or MRI and blood tests for the final diagnosis of AS.
