Basic Information:
Age/Sex/Body Type: 70-year-old male, obese.
Chief Complaint: Bilateral posterior thigh pain, more prominent on the left, mild on the right, persisting for over a year.
Characteristics of Pain:
Location: Posterior thighs, not extending to the popliteal fossa.
Quality: Tight and painful.
Aggravating Factors: Pain worsens after standing or walking approximately 100 meters.
Relieving Factors: Pain immediately subsides upon sitting down; pain-free when lying flat.
Associated Symptoms: Buttock pain, no pain in the lower back.
Physical Examination:
Straight Leg Raise Test: Negative.
Sensation and Muscle Strength: No abnormalities.
Four Words Test: Negative.
Lower Back: No tenderness.
Posterior Thighs: No tenderness.
Gluteal Muscles: Tender but no radiating pain.
Piriformis and Quadratus Femoris Muscles: No tenderness.
