Treating difficult migraine with acupuncture and herbs

Ms. Helen, getting a headache for ten years. It occured many times a year, it last one week or more every time, specially it would occur after getting cold or drunk or feeling too tired. She felt prickly pain on right back of head, which radiated to right eye, so she had seen the specialist in eye. The pain was aggravated by turning head to right side or press the right back of head with hand, relieved by keeping warm or good rest. Sleeping was not good, because of the headache. She would go to bed and had a good rest when it occured every time, it affected her work and normal life. Difficult case of frequent urination presentation

Ms Xin, 40 years old, Urinary frequency and urgency for 6 months. half years ago patient frequently going to toilet for urinating, about once each half hour, and going to toilet immediately, she did not want to go to shoping, always stay at home, then would wet her cloth. She could not feels pain in urinary tract, during urinating. She woke up about 5-6 times at night, because of the problem. She went to her doctor, and had a urine test for urinalysis, could not find anything. her doctor introduced her to urologist, who given several special examination, such as ultrasonic. Still can not get the problem’s underlying reason, so specialist suggested her to take antibiotic and more water. After western medicine treatments, could not get little effect. So she went to see Chinese medicine doctor to try different way. After acupuncture and herbal medicine in Chinese medicine clinic, also could not feels the effect of treatments. logan swan and dr huang 001Wenchuan Huang, associate professor, has worked in the Acupuncture-moxibustion Department of Shandong Provincial Hospital for 6 years from 1995 to 2001, and he is the deputy director of the department as well.Shandong Provincial Hospital is a general hospital, which is in charge of medical treatment, teaching and research. There are 2400 staff and 1200 beds in the hospital whose daily outpatient is above 3000.

Wenchuan Huang is the only one who got Doctorate(Ph.D) on acupuncture-moxibusetion in Shandong Province. He is responsible for diagnosing and treating the outpatients and inpatients of the Acupuncture-moxibustion Department. He hosts the daily ward round, meeting and discussion on the difficult cases and works out the suitable therapy to cure patients. With his efforts, acupuncture-moxibustion therapy becomes the one of the characteristic techniques of our hospital. He conquers many complicated cases that cannot be cured by west medicine, so he gradually raises public attention in the medical field of China and becomes the well-known acupuncture-moxibustion specialist of Shandong.

Wenchuan Huang was appointed to be conductor of postgraduates for masterate by Shandong Medical University in June; 2001. He directs postgraduates’ medical stucy and clinical practice. In recent years, many physicians from U.S.A, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia and Austria come to learn acupuncture-moxibustion technology from him. He is a responsible teacher and makes Chinese medicine more and more acceptable around the world. Mr. Huang is also one of the leading number of two research tasks of Chinese Medicine Management Bureau. Experts have appraised one, and the other is on.
