After Seven Years of Debilitating Headaches, I Finally Felt Alive Again

For many years, Jojo lived with severe headaches that affected almost every part of her daily life. What she had long believed to be migraines had become increasingly disabling over time. According to her own description, the pain could become so intense that she had to go home, lie in a dark room, and wait until she fell asleep. Over time, even basic activities such as going out, waking early, travelling, exercising, or eating certain foods became difficult because of fear of triggering another episode.

Before coming to our clinic, she had already sought help from a range of health professionals. Despite many consultations, she still felt that the problem had not been properly understood. By the time she came to see Dr Win Huang, the headaches had already been affecting her life for around seven years, and the condition had begun to shape how she saw her future.
